Gorenjska region
In the Gorenjsko region (sometimes also referred to as the region of “Upper Carniola”) one can find a lot of accommodation to choose from. Planica is the annual venue for the Ski Jumping World Cup. Also Pokljuka is an important sporting place, every year hosting the best biathletes in the world.
Bled and Bohinj are definitely the places that shall not be missed during your visit in Gorenjsko. Their natural (Bled and Bohinj lake) and cultural attractions promise an unforgettable experience. Bled and Bohinj offer especially a great amount of private rooms and apartments.
