Ankaran

Ankaran is a tourist town at the beginning of the Slovenian part of the Istrian coast. It is known for its spa, which was established in the late 19th century.

Today Ankaran boasts one of the largest camps in Slovenia. It also offers hotel accommodation, apartments and rooms.

A quiet place is a vibrant destination during summer and events like Ankaranska night and medieval market.

Ankaran is located near the popular resort of Debeli Rtič with a sandy beach.
